Degree programme specification
Applicants with a bachelor’s degree in this or related field of study from a higher education institution may apply for the follow-up master’s degree programme. This field is for those who have a clear idea of their future profiling in studies and professional career and are able to formulate this idea clearly and intelligibly. Besides knowing what they want, they must also have a clear idea of what they can bring to the Studio. They need to have production-related experience from the implementation of art projects and must be able to think in a broader context.

- Objectives
The studies in this field aim to develop the students’ personalities so that they become well versed in the history and present of theatre and art, understand theatre operations, theatre technology, professional vocabulary (including international) and can use their legal, economic, psychological and sociological knowledge in their professional life. The students should also be able to think about a project and plan it, manage it, communicate about it and evaluate it. And, of course, the students should also learn to think critically and take responsibility for their tasks and the tasks of the creative team’s members.

In addition, graduates of the follow-up master’s degree studies may become directors of theatre or other artistic institutions, heads of marketing departments in theatres or heads of culture-oriented departments in state administration and self-government.
